A celebration of Italian spirit, taste and excellence
Italian Aperitif Week is an event created and organized by All About Italy, in collaboration with the Tuscany Tourism Board, the Municipality of Genoa, and the Consorzio di Tutela Prosecco DOC.
From June 12 to June 21, 2026, ten iconic Italian restaurants across New York City will celebrate the Italian aperitivo tradition with signature cocktails, live events, and a unique competition open to both bartenders and the public.
What’s happening
This year, Italian Aperitif Week brings together the finest Italian spirits and ingredients. Each participating bartender will craft an original signature cocktail featuring Prosecco DOC, Amaro Camatti, and Amaro Santoni – a celebration of Italian mixology at its most creative.
10 talented bartenders, one for each participating location, will compete during the event period. A jury of industry experts will evaluate each cocktail (70%), with public voting and social media engagement contributing the remaining 30%.

From June 12ᵗʰ to 21ⁿᵈ, participating venues will weelcome guests to:
- Social media fun & a grand prize
Each cocktail will be shared on the All about Italy Instagram and Facebook Profiles. The bartender with the most engagement will win a trip to Italy. - Special visibility for Italian brands
Italian Aperitif Week is also a platform for Italian consortia, regions, and companies to gain exposure in the U.S. through dedicated content, events, and press visibility.
